Officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 900 block of Franklintown Road shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 after receiving reports of a shooting, according to a spokesperson from the department.
Once at the scene, officers located an 18-year-old girl - whose name has not been released - suffering from a gunshot wound to her leg.
The victim told officers that she was with her friends when an unidentified man got into an argument with them, police say. The man then pulled out a gun and shot at the victim and her friends multiple times.
The teen was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
